D-Day Ohio Media & Resources

D-Day Welcomes All Media!

If you are a member of the local or national media, come join us for this special event. Meet some of the staff and volunteers that help run this yearly event. Speak with reenactors. Take a ride with your crew on one of our many historic landing crafts. Check in at the "media tent" when you arrive. We will be happy to assist in whatever way we can and answer any questions you may have. For additional information or questions, please contact Pete Lero or Wayne Heim: 440-823-6667.

Media & Special Access Shooting

For professional/semi professional artists/photographers, Media, and Commercial Filming Crews, a limited number of VIP reserved shooting spots are reserved each year. Due to the popularity of the event by both the public and the press, our space is becoming more limited. These are NOT "All Access" passes. These passes allow photographers to be placed at the front of the crowd lines without having to reserve a shooting spot hours prior to a battle. Photographers with passes are subject to the same safety restrictions as all visitors. Limited access to the bluff for shooting will be made available this year. This is only accessible with a media pass. All other areas are accessible without a pass but keep in mind that people stake out viewing spots hours before battles so the best way to ensure a front-line shooting spot is to purchase a media pass. Any questions, please feel free please contact Pete Lero with questions. Click here to register for 2024
